"As Director of Client Services, my role here at SMI is both rewarding and exciting. I enjoy the personal, face to face interaction that I have with clients and assisting Jim as he works towards helping them meet their investment and retirement needs. From account opening to transfer of funds, I strive to keep our clients informed every step of the way. My time is dedicated to supporting Jim and ensuring that our clients have a positive experience from account opening and beyond".
Kristina Short holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management and is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri.
Her prior customer service and management experience has allowed her to apply these skills to her role at SMI and excel in her responsibilities and dedication to our clients.
It is her friendly voice that callers generally hear on the other end of the phone. Timely response and follow up to requests and messages are top priorities for her.
Following graduation, Kristina returned to the Mountain Grove area to be with her family and to pursue her career in the Financial industry assisting with helping others to prepare for their financial and retirement futures.
Kristina started with Smart Money Innovations / Southern Missouri Investments as an Administrative Assistant and now functions as our Director of Client Services.
During free time, Kristina enjoys spending time with her 2 children, family, and friends.
